Located in Jackson, NH, Whitney's Inn, will be our venue for our special day. Just a few minutes down the road from where Sean proposed, this little town is going to be home to one more special memory! We are so excited to have all our family and friends make the trip to celebrate with us and make this place even more magical. From the mountain backdrops, to a covered bridge, and the barn, this little inn in the mountains is truly rustic-chic.
Please note that due to the popularity of the season in Jackson, the hotels we are providing accommodations at, do require a two night minimum stay. I know, I know, but trust us, we plan on making it worth it for everyone! More on that below. If for some reason you cannot commit to the two nights and can only join us for the evening of the wedding you are more than welcome to book at one of the many hotels/inns in Jackson, NH. North Conway is also only a 20 minute drive from Jackson, so there are plenty of options there as well.
Due to limited capacity and a large wedding, the rooms at Whitney's Inn and the Inn at Jackson have already been reserved,
primarily for the wedding party and immediate family members. Should any additional rooms open up we will be sure to let you know!

We have reserved a room block at the The Eagle Mountain House, located in Jackson, NH, just a quick 3 miles away from the wedding venue.
We encourage you to book your reservation as soon as possible to ensure your stay. Please be sure to mention that you are a part of
the Higgins-Morgan wedding when you make your reservation. *Please note, that if a room is not filled by Aug 8th, the Inn

We want everyone to be able to enjoy the occassion and get back safe and sound to their rooms! So enjoy yourselves, kick back

While we love all of your children, the events this weekend will be adults-only. I know some of our friends(Sean)
can act like children, but that's typically when they run out of beer... Fortunately, no one needs to worry
about that this weekend! Seriously though, we don't wish to upset anyone by this, but we hope
this advance notice means you are still able to share our big day
and will enjoy having the evening off!
We are so excited to have everyone join us. We know that we may have people coming from all over so we wanted to just give everyone a heads up on some important travel notes to allow you
to plan out your trip accordingly. If you are flying in, Logan Airport in Boston, will likely be your target destination(140 miles from the venue). There are two other options
a bit closer, however, they are smaller and may not have as many options as Logan: Manchester, NH(115 Miles) and Portland, ME(70 Miles).

Take US-6 W and merge onto MA-3 N. Take the exit for I-93N and follow taking the exit for US-1N. Take the exit for I-95N towards Portsmouth NH. Take exit 4 for Nh-16N. Stay on NH 16N and an eventual right onto NH-16A N, then keep straight onto NH-16B S...Finally, take a slight right onto Black Mountain Rd...and the celebration will be ahead on the left!

We are still in the process of ironing out the exact times for when everything will go down but here is what you can tentatively expect the weekend to be like.
Our goal is for this to be a fun filled weekend for all of our guests! We know that we are asking a lot by having everyone
give up a prime weekend in September to come and celebrate with us.
In return, we want to have lots of activities, so all we ask is that you come ready to have fun!

Welcome Party - 6PM-9PM
Casual gathering for people to mix & mingle, eat some food, sip some drinks, play some lawn games,
and just kick back as they settle in for a weekend in the White Mountains.
Food Selection: BBQ Style Buffet
Drink Selection: Open Bar(Beer & Wine)
Please note that we cannot consume personal alcohol until after 10PM

Ceremony & Reception at The Whitney's Inn - 4PM
We will have transportation from the Eagle Mountain House and Jackson Inn. More info will be provided in your hotel room gift bag :)
The Wedding will be taking place outside of the Whitney's Inn. The Reception will follow the ceremony under a tent beside the ceremony site - 4:30PM
After Party in The Barn - 9-11:30PM
For those guests that would like to continue the festivities, we invite you to enjoy more drinks,
dancing, and laughs in the Shovel Handle Pub after the main reception has ended.
